2. Take Your Own Photos
We’d love to see more photos of your custom products in action. Mockup images are great, but we see plenty of those by virtue of just being Kin Custom! Whether the images are flat-lays (i.e. photos of just your stylized products) or are of the products on you or someone else, we generally prefer to feature user-generated content.
TIP: If you can’t take your own photos, try using Placeit. Placeit is a user-friendly online platform where you can create professional-looking mockups within seconds. No, the images don’t showcase our products, but if we can match your custom design with your Kin Custom store or another one of your sales channels, then you can still get featured.
3. Create awesome, trendy designs
This is a given, but we’re always on the look-out for the best, most trendy custom prints. If you’re unsure about what designs to put on your products, start with current trends. For example, tie-dye, leopard prints, florals, and foods were really hot summer prints this year.
4. Make Sure Your Designed Product is Easily Identifiable as One of Kin Custom’s
It’s true that the point of white label branding is to make your customer think the product is yours, not ours. However, if you want to get your product featured on our platform, we would need to be able to easily identify that product as ours. If we can verify that your design is in your Kin Custom shop, or if you can confirm to us that you ordered our products, then it’ll be easier for us to feature you.
